It's quite simple - you save money by not buying software. "Why can't people just give up Internet for a month or three to save up for a legal copy of Counter-Strike?" And why not just download the game and keep the connection to get some movies? I mean it works, and has *NO DRM* on it... FYI: I have legal versions of CS, CSS, TF2 and others.
