I agree, Plasma. Proper moderation could make this work. I don't know that it would make a huge difference whether this information was on a mailing list or the forums. As long as the moderators were cognizant of issues that have already been solved and were able to fix someone's problem with a link to another thread on their subject....I think the general "mess" could be kept under control.

If someone wants to know how to setup a server; why not let them in and find out how to do so?
