The real bottom line is that ultimately, YOU are guaranteeing an SLA or product delivery in some way. It's not for anyone to micromanage how you get there unless you're bound by gov't/agency regulations or own the company. If you like it and you can deliver, who cares? Your prices will reflect that efficiency and your customer base will reflect that success.
