It does eat a player slot and probably always will - all they are doing
(or trying to) is manipulating the player counts to hide this fact.

Correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't replay NOT take a server slot?
I finally got around to enabled it and my server dropped from 18/18 to
17/17 as soon as I map changed to bring replay online.
Was this intended? I thought that it was fixed where replay wouldn't eat a
player slot.

I have a problem with 24 player server when a player would spawn it will
crash the server. Running just sourcetv everything work fine just, but
adding replay causes a lot of problems. I had already sent some crash
dumps to Eric last week.
Don't know if anywhere related, but just putting it out there.

If you want to run SourceTV with Replay on at the same time, lowering

We're going to be working on this this week.
Are you running with any mods/plugins? What does your command-line and
configs look like?

I tried enabling replay + sourcetv on my 32 player server. But when the
clients join, they crash with a bogus client index error.
Wasn't there supposed to be a fix for this?

Any chance this is to address the "server hang" issue(s)?

We're going to release an optional (for servers) TF2 update in a little
