I second this.
I used to stutter a LOT while playing tf2, sometimes it was almost unbearable.
Today I played for 2 hours straight without any stuttering, and it's amazing.
Thankyou Valve.

Valve,
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
This is the best update in years. Maps? Sure they're fun, but these perf
enhancements have changed the behavior of the game for me. Tracking targets in
melee and navigating through the area in and out of windows and ledges with a
scout is so much more intuitive and enjoyable now.

Thank you.

Getting synchronized crashes as well, it's not crashing the clients
here. I've noticed that the last thing in the console before the
crash is an rcon from the server itself for "stats". Anyone else
    getting that?

I've been getting reports of synchronized crashes affecting a set
of players on my server and experienced it myself. It doesn't
affect all players, but it definitely affects more than one player
at the same time and it crashes the client back to OS without any
      warning or message.

It's frequent and it appears to be happening on other servers
aswell, as i have been told. Can't confirm that 100%, though.

I think it should have something to do with the item server as
long as it is a synchronized crash.

                                Setting host_timer_spin_ms will reduce

(i.e. a bogged down server), but may
                                improve consistency on a sub-second

This seem to make the FPS more consistent
when enabled, it always stay at 66. When
                              it's disabled, it's mostly between 60-70.
