That's because you are using the OB one :).
My steamclient.dll matches the size and date on Richard's, and doesn't
seem to work, so I must be missing something else -- or need to delete
something. I'll try a completely fresh install later tonight.

That's certainly odd, as all of ours were. I'll poke around
further and see if a -verify_all after today's update would help
(it didn't help previously).
What's the file size on your steamclient.dll? Can you confirm that
it says "secure" in the "status" output?
