The best snapshot will be if Valve will create "CSS Old beta" that will be a snapshot of 1.0.0.34 version of the game (Pre-orangebox, aka v34, aka old CSS...) :D Many users still play version 34 and don't want to play at the current version even if they have CSS in Steam... This will be great :-)

I was able to get a CS:S beta dedicated server up (under Linux/Debian).
But, when I went to open the CS:S client on my Windows machine ... it's not there any more?
I could swear it was there as recently as yesterday.
Do I need to specifically re-opt-inn to the CS:S beta?
Also, does that mean I need to be in the beta for Steam itself also?
