Or you could say that you don't understand the purpose of an analogy.
According to the venerable dictionary.com, the first definition of an
analogy is:

a. Similarity in some respects between things that are otherwise
dissimilar.
b. A comparison based on such similarity.

By its very definition, an analogy will never be exact, and you can pick
a good analogy apart by overanalyzing it and trying to be overly
specific, usually because you disagree with the point of the analogy and
can't find any good way to counter the argument otherwise.
