Huh? where did I say that? Whats architecture got to do with anything? Using your above analogy, you could say all electronic devices are just subtley different, due to the fact they use power. This is not that case, and your above mentioned comment is not what I stated or meant. Linux is a kernel, all distros (with the exception of a couple) use the same kernel source.
