hey, I finally managed to get the files for HLDS Steam + CS 1.6 on Linux, by using BitTorrent. At the moment, everything is working fine except for the CPU loads, which are a lot higher than with CS 1.5.
Do you think that the loads will remain this high throughout 1.6, or do you think that this is just a temporary 'bug' that will be resolved fairly soon with another update. At the moment, I still can't 'update' my installation (though it doesn't need to be), giving me the usual errors of 'couldn't get content ticket' and 'account doesn't exist or password is wrong'. The servers are stupidly popular, and are full within SECONDS of starting up the servers, so, I hope all you other server admins can get servers up soon to lighten the load on my box...
