You can set the HZ in /boot/loader.conf with the line kern.hz="1000"
(replace 1000 with your HZ). It seems that the FPS of HLDS is half of the
HZ, rather than equal to it in Linux. I have had good results with both
600hz and 1000hz, although I'm sure anything inbetween would work great as
well.
