Mike posted about it in the loader, I do mine in a kernel compile. Deffinitely increases cpu usuage of hlds, but gives great performance. With my decent hosting company, I get solid 25-30ms ping on a full 16 player with cs, running at abou 25-40% cpu on a 2.4Ghz p4.
