Thanks for clearing this up... I think I will invest in a straightline
Intel w/ 800MHz Frontside BUS and 1 GB RAM (an IDE drive +7500ms) to
replace my Celeron 2 GHz w/ 1 GB. What do you think of this
configuration?

I am trying to run 3 hlds_l (czero - czero - dod), and 1 srcds_i686
processes concurrently. I have maxplayers set at 24, 16, 24, and 32
respectively... Most of the time the servers don't lag... Only seems to
happen when we sustain too many concurrent players, and the CPU usage
shoots through the ceiling.

You need a dual CPU box for that. Your last reponse from Steven said a dual cpu box would be a waste for any "single" server. You're running four.

If you're willing to part with your wallet then any fast XEON or Opteron
box will get you the results you want. You could potentially save a lot
of money by going with a Dual AMD MP box though. It's still a pretty
suitable machine for running a game server and won't cost you thousands.
