I am trying to figure out why my test server at home is not getting on
the master list. My server at home is running on Windows and is behind
an OpenBSD firewall. The firewall is connected via ethernet to my modem
and the firewall is what obtains the IP from Comcast (my ISP).

Every page I look at on the net seems to offer different ports for
forwarding. The Steam site says this:

UDP 1200
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27030 to 27039 inclusive

BTW, why does that say inclusive? Isn't that redundant to the "to"
part? But I see many other ports like 7002, 5723, etc. I think those
may have been for WON though. Currently I am only forwarding port 27015
to my internal IP. Although I have done the following with no better
luck (yes I know there is unneeded stuff in there, I was desperate):

TCP & UDP 1200
TCP & UDP 7002
TCP & UDP 7030
TCP & UDP 27000 thru 27015
TCP & UDP 27030 thru 27039

I have my sv_region set to 1, I have refreshed the list for the world
and for US west. I see my primary servers (co-located) but not my test
server at home. People have successfully connected to my test server by
adding my external IP to their favorites list. This is with just port
27015 being forwarded.

My current pf rules if any one cares are this:

rdr on fxp0 proto udp from any to any port 27015 -> 192.168.0.17
pass in on fxp0 proto udp from any to 192.168.0.17 port 27015

Anyway, I have seen many other people on the list with this problem but never wanted a home server to be on the net until now. So no I'm in their boat. I searched the list but it doesn't appear any one ever got this problem solved. Thanks for the help guys.

name: [adi] Iceworld rdr
ip: 67.164.108.150
