I don't charge anyone a dime. Must be why my clients are so happy. My clients are all the players that join the servers I run and a few clans and leagues I choose to provide free servers to.
So I am not a "big provider" making money off of VALVe. I am just using some of my good fortune to give back to the gaming community.
Or I could spend the money on good scotch and cuban cigars and let the "big providers" continue to make money off of VALVe. hmmmmm..... ;-)

Shit -- you know -- I just wrote a good four paragraphs along those lines and then closed the window just like you said. Sheesh. :)
You guys with the big server setups sure abuse Valve a lot, and don't give them a whole load'a love considering *they're* providing *you* with the means to make *you* money in the first place. How much are you paying for those licenses again?
That said, I do think it'd be neat to have a distributed beta system set up so a few thousand servers around the world were used to test server- side updates for a day or two before an official release was made.

"Comprehend the magnitude"? That's the kinda talk that would fill up a response with profanity...only to close the window rather than send.
