Once VAC2 goes out of beta there will be a server update that will make your OP4 servers have the little shield .

There aren't many real questions right now, we are too busy insulting each other :-) OK, I'll ask a real question. If I STATUS my OP4 server, I see: 11:51:57 hostname: Ooks Steaming Pile of 1001 Crap Maps version : 47/1.1.2.0 3147 secure However, on the server list it does not have the little sheild icon that means it is running VAC, none of the OP4 servers do. And if I do a "view server info", I see "Valve Anti-Cheat: Not secure". I'm guessing that this will eventually show VAC2 server as having VAC running? Or is it because it's OP4 that the VAC icon does not appear? I know there are only a couple of dozen OP4 servers out there, and maybe it's not worth the time to actively support them - do you have any information on future support of OP4 servers? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alfred Reynolds" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 18, 2005 10:11 AM Subject: RE: [hlds_linux] VAC2 actually detecting & banning? > Wow, with all this flaming I have a hard time finding the real > questions > :) > > VAC2 should not be enforcing bans at this time, it looks like a > gremlin may have escaped his cage, we will look into it.
