Until we're all running draconian trusted-computing platforms where
processes can truely be protected (note: maybe this isn't quite true),
any sort of one-shot anticheat is going to fail very quickly
If the VAC2 developers aren't 110% as vigilant as the cheat developers,
it will fail, no question - cheaters will learn how to jump through any
order of loops pretty quickly to get their precious aids working, it's
up to valve to change and tighten those loopholes as the need arises.
Elsewise it will be no different from VAC1 ...

Someone said they were going to kick the cheat devs in the balls.
someone sued the dev communities. why didn't this end already.
Alfred, why don't you do a friggin memory checksum, and literally stat
every part of the hl.exe / hl2.exe when launched, and force it to
shutdown if its modified in memory. Loading a module like VAC / VAC2
can obviously be easily jammed. How difficult is it to just run a
memory check once in a while.

wow, that took a long time. VAC2 takes 5 months to develop and VAC2
cheats takes about...a week to come out....YAY!

Alright, so Endorphine (VAC2 Proof according to the devs) has been
cycled around, as well as a VAC2 disabler, they could easily use the
same injection and run private versions of cheats. Alfred, did the
system officially fail? I will mirror the copies for you if you need
them, but this isn't looking good at all, especially for a lot of
online events.
