Hi all,

It's been a few years, but I am back to "attempting" to run a Source HLDM
server. I have gone through the install and the update and have a running
server. However I am getting some messages scrolling on the console when a
player connects.

Here's a snipet:

Connection to Steam servers successful.

This will continue to scroll indefinitely as far as I can tell. I found a few
posts on the Steam forums, but no resolution.

Has anyone here found a fix for such a phenomenon ?

The server is an Intel box running Mandriva 2006 hlds version : 1.0.0.10/7
2784 secure.

On a side note I also setup a CS Server on the same box and I do not receive
these messages in the console when players connect.

Thanks for any help,

Coroner
