I repeated the test on my older system.  It does not have that problem with
the new beta.  Top output:

} Crap!  I have been running the non-beta, I just updated to the new beta

} the CPU usage it 70-99% with 1 player.  It seemed normal at first, after
} about 10 minutes of play it started to lag and quickly became unusable.  I
} get what seems like lag.  Take some shots and the ammo usage returns to
} what
} it was before I took the shots.  Going back in time.  I have seen this
} with
} 1 map that required a lot of CPU, more than normal.  But I am playing
} breakfloor, it runs fine on a P3-500MHz.  I am currently running the

} on a P4 Celeron 2.4GHz.  I have been using this computer for about 2 weeks
} without this problem.  I have had 10 players without problems.
