I traced some server's i play alot. Both Dutch and UK servers. I have about 8 to 9 hops to the UK (Amsterdam-London) and a good 6 to 9 hops to server's in my own country (The Netherlands, Amsterdam hosted). I do have to say that my ISP added a lot of hops in the past few years. I used to have like 6 hops to any network in The Netherlands and now I sometimes have 9.
Nakin, you're saying that 20,55,66 or 111 fps makes you shoot faster but run slower? I know that developer 1 makes you run slower. I will try these values now: rate 20000 cl_updaterate "100" cl_cmdrate "100" ex_interp "0.01" cl_rate 20000 fps_max "101" I'll let you know if it made any difference. Further suggestions are more than welcome! Cheers, Bento -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Namens AnAkIn . I don't think you problem is related to netcode settings though...:S The guns shooting slower have probably to do with your FPS. There are some FPS values where you can shoot faster, run faster, etc. Example: Shoot faster (from memory, there are more values) : 20,50,66,111 Higher FPS makes you run slower afaik (no special value) Higher FPS makes you surf faster (surf_ maps) Higher FPS makes you jump slower -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Quickcut.concrete [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Verzonden: dinsdag 20 mei 2008 12:55 Aan: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Onderwerp: RE: [hlds_linux] HL1 Client Problems Do a cmd tracert to the servers your playing on and you will probably find your getting lots of hops to the server this can cause hit reg issues. Common with adsl you might find another isp will give you better luck 2008/5/20 Bento de Gier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > I don't know if this is really a good place to post this but there are a > lot > more techies on here then on the Steam forums J > > > > > > I've been playing CS and CS:CZ for about 4 years now and never had really > bad issues with bullet registration etc. but now I have.
