On a slightly different topic - actually, a very different topic. As I'm reading your message about players blaming your crappy server, etc. I'm curious as to how one would tell how well players like your server? IE is there any type of valve-hosted stats that show your server rating? I have over 1000 players in my stats, but not a lot of regulars. Yet I have players almost constantly. Are they just choosing a random server and some magic on Valve's end shoves them into my server? Is my server in their favorites and they keep coming back because of that? Maybe what I'm asking is, how do players find my server? Where do they come from and how do they end up here? Chat logs don't tell me much. Usually mindless chatter with the occaisinal "kewl mods" (laser mod, survivor upgrades, but very limited, mostly fast reload). _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
