Wow, relax I wasn't attacking you at all. I use symlink and they show up in FTP all the time. And it doesn't require remounting everytime the system reboots.
I was offering an alternative that u thought you didnt know about perhaps, or knew of a performance reason not to, and certainly wasn't attacking you in any way. Steven J.
