I'm not saying you're wrong, but remember that VAC is a delayed banning system. It doesn't ban as soon as a cheat is detected, because the immediate feedback helps makes it easier to circumvent.
Of course, this is only a roadbump for cheaters... what we could be seeing is that initial culling period of darwinism where everyone running the blatantly obvious cheats will get logged and eventually banned, and the sneaky cheaters won't be apparent over the noise until later on. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:hlds_linux- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of Allen Coppin > Sent: 20 May 2010 14:44 > To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list > Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] CSS beta - Massive amount of cheaters > > vac is shit really. i went on a 40people cheat server. about 27 of > them > used cheats. not one got caught > > On Thu, May 20, 2010 at 4:41 PM, Saint K. <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > Before CSS beta I never really gave CSS much attention.
