BTW I modded the error message output in nemrun to add (upa = $upa) so it would show the return value (I was trying to diagnose this in srcupdatecheck myself). I just completed a manual update with -verify_all by adding -retry to the steam command line. Adding -retry seems to be the magic awesome sauce to get a -verify_all to complete without dumping the connection with an Error 104 (connection reset by peer). But anyway, even after a successful manual update with -verify_all, nemrun is still seeing same problems.
