Hmm... I haven't noticed a decrease in CPU usage on full servers. It's still around 70% of a core on average for payload and around 50% for 2fort.
So it still 1 server per core for me on a Q9550. Can't really run more servers per box :/. But previously changing fps_max from 1000 to say 100 had no effect on CPU usage either. If it could do 100 fps it seemed like it could do 1000 all the same.
