ics I just got my server back up and running by reinstalling everything. I then copied over addons/ cfg/ and maps/ but here's the kicker - now it doesn't start up! I quickly undid this and found out of all things my /cfg/ folder was the problem. It wasn't anything in my server.cfg or replay.cfg files, and it wasn't any *.cfg at all.
The only files that weren't .cfgs in there was settings_default.scr, user_default.scr, and valve.rc. You could try just removing these files and see if that helps. This was driving me nuts and hopefully it's behind me. Also I never got -verify_all to work, does it not work with the steam binary?
