Well, I doubt you can really gauge it TBH. It might be that people think the map sucks :) If these maps were really popular it wouldn't be an issue, quickplay or not, I'm sure.

Quite often I get people complaining about respawn timers and I'm thinking 'but you used quickplay what did you expect to find?' and it turns out they actually searched for the map. Paradoxically, quickplay works best when you have a few players joining manually to kick things off, but equally, people are more likely to join manually when quickplay gives you a nearly full server.

My server used to empty if it switched to koth_badlands. (That's quickplay isn't it?) But, people obviously don't like it for some reason, while they'll play hours and hours of other koth maps. Same as last night, after 7 hours of cp_foundry I fancied something else and figured I would try another 5cp map and the server just emptied when it switched to it.
