I 100% disagree... Don't cheat and don't get banned. You saying this just says "Ohh well let's just slap em on the wrist for cheating - maybe they will learn" Nope sorry ...do not pass go - you cheat EVERYTHING you purchased with that hard earned cash is gone and you shouldn't get it back. Now you can come back later and make a new account, repurchase the games and maybe then that will make you think twice about violating TOS.
Says it clear as day on the VAC Wiki.... Valve has "a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and will not lift VAC bans under any circumstances So..don't cheat don't lose your hard earned cashed paid games. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Steven Linn Sent: Saturday, December 24, 2011 10:11 AM To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Cheat Engine & Report I don't think it's fair for Valve to ban people from all Valve games forever, because not only does it nullify all the hard earned cash they used to buy the games, but it makes Valve look like a bunch of whiney little girls. Don't get me wrong, I am not VAC'd and I have never been VAC'd. I just think a 3month ban would suffice, with repeat offense being the only thing that gets you banned permanently.
