This also seems to affect the Steampipe version of the server. Either
that or i'm doing something wrong with it.

I don't think is Metamod. Probably the server does not load the plugins
anymore, at least on Linux. I have 3 and none is loaded (including Metamod). No
errors are printed in server's console or in log files.
