Yeah, great... But the rubygems fix crashed Apache, because the Phusion Passenger-config in httpd.conf had to be changed. But... After I corrected httpd.conf my (rudimentary) rails page moaned about an "undefined method `cache_template_loading=' for ActionView::Base:Class". Trying to fix the rubygems problem I uninstalled older versions of several gems including Rails. I shouldn't have done that. I know now... I'm planning to report all my stupid misteaks ;-) so hopefully other people dont make the same ones... I re-installed the old rails version of my rails-page (in my case running 'gem install rails -v 2.1.1') That helped. You actually can run different versions of rails on the same machine. > Our goal for Barquin's support and input to Hobo is to make it so you > DON'T have to be a rails expert to use Hobo. > > We look at Hobo as much more than a "Plugin". I like to think that I might contribute a little bit to Hobo being a more stable environment some day. -- Eric --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hobo Users" group.
