Hi Arnaud, thank you for your appreciation, and for noticing that "bugs reported are corrected a few minutes after having them reported". Anyway that it is not (and couldn't be) completely true for them all, but I'm doing my best to fix everyting ASAP.
About the slowness you are reporting, my own feeling is that it improves a little instead, but I didn't test it scientifically. You should try the same app by running it under the two enviroments. It would be also nice to know the compared benchmarks of the same vanilla rails app running with old an new rails, so we could have an estimate about how much hobo is slowering down the process.
