yup.
and those Geeks (real ones) ;) at PovRay take it to the max ...
building their own computers and cooling systems and ways
to monitor chip temp vs cpu usage ...
always been way over my head.
and they usually turn out to be some 16 year old kid ...
some of the best programmers too. but then they cut their
teeth on computers.
what i like about POVrayers is ...
they are always willing to share their knowledge/experience
on the newsgroup.
http://news.povray.org/
much like the original hacker's ethic ...
"information needs to be free".
that is the POVray philosophy ...
and why it's always been Freeware from day one.

i support them ...
and buy the IRTC CD's ...
(International Ray Tracing Competition)
https://secure.povray.org/

do check out this link ...
there is some information there about the first
ray tracing that was done from orbit aboard the
International Space Station.

sorry i haven't been around HG lately ...
spread rather thin these daze. ;)

i see Lob has new projects ...
i try to check them out what i have time.
good work.

keep on geekin'
