For tunnels RFC4213 is preferred over 6to4, but I do think that both
should be implemented.  Comcast has done a good job with 6to4, and
other providers might as well.  RFC6204 does specify that the WAN side
can be a tunnel, but doesn't recommend any type of tunnel (I don't
think having not looked just now).
