Well, I've decided that I simply don't understand the proposal.
It doesn't discuss the addresses and prefixes involved. I suggest that
you need to add that plus a description of "a day in the life of an
application layer session" during a series of link failures and
restorations.

There seems to be a single point of failure - the MSP - but the
point of multihoming is to get rid of single points of failure.

Also, are you implying that session continuity is a requirement? In most
homenet scenarios that I know of, a transport session reset is already
a common event that applications (or users) need to recover from
on a daily basis. It seems that the kind of connection manager that
has been discussed in MIF would deal with this scenario (see for example
draft-seite-mif-cm).
