Because I am not optimistic on deployment of mobility protocols in the home, my answer is yes. WiFi APs in same home has same SSID(s). Each SSID provides an IP subnet. Providing multiple SSIDs should be in scope, with <my_home> and <my_guest> as default SSIDs. Both <my_home> and <my_guest> differ from my neighbors SSIDs. Al least two directions for a solution: 1) the WLAN controller with tunnels between the APs and the WLC. 2) distribute the AP configuration for APs, either manually or guided by a homenet protocol. I hope we can circumvent VLANs in homenet. An alternative would be /128 prefix routing. Whatever we choose, we have to keep in mind that dual stack operation will not fade away soon.
