We should also mention Dover Publications - they reprint, usually from a good library copy they've found somewhere, editions of many standard works that are out of copyright. I just received a full orchestra score for the Rite of Spring and I think it cost $12 plus shipping. (My son is playing trumpet on this with the New York Youth Symphony.)
Be aware that some of the older scores do follow older notational conventions, e.g., many of the Bach works for chorus feature the soprano, alto, and tenor parts in soprano, alto, and tenor clef, respectively, as was the case with the Bach Gesellschaft editions - not everyone's cup of tea, that. -S- On Fri, Feb 19, 2010 at 1:11 PM, Travis Bennett <[email protected]> wrote: > The original Cello parts can be downloaded through imslp.org.
