Hi Doug, The work you need to have done can be done here in the states by skilled craftsmen at probably a fraction of the price considering shipping overseas twice, insurance and, possibly, customs problems. Also, there is always a chance the horn will be damaged or lost during all of the handling necessary to get it to Germany and back. Consider the problems if the work is not satisfactory. If you're getting the bell cut, don't forget to add the cost of a new case.
