I have the same experience with the Design Jet as others here do. No problems, fantastic color, cheap as chips to run, and a satin 80+ year paper to-die-for.
I've also run hundreds of feet of canvas through the rear feed, and so long as you have a straight side to it and a good 90degree cut at the start, it loads perfectly from the rear. There's always a but, though. The DJ is great at color but a pig to get a neutral black and white from. I don't believe it is possible to get B & W without a color cast, and this is where the Epsons like the new 3800 will win every time. Someone on this Group emailed me about my canvas printing, I replied and it just bounces back. If that person gives me a different email address, I'll re-send.
