My upgrade to the 130 was from the 1280. The relative difference between the two is night (1280) and day (130).
Once I got my 130, I never printed on the 1280 again - even on matte paper. Additionally, I have always been able to match colors on my monitor (calibrated with Adobe Gamma) when printing by either adjusting the settings in the printer color management dialog box (I use Photoshop 7 and may upgrade to CS2) or by using Epson/Ilford color profiles. Would the DJ 90 be as easy to set up and use as the 1280? How are the DJ 90 color profiles provided by HP? How does it do with matte papers?
