I greatly appreciate everyone's response - there is a lot to like about the DJ 90/130s. Andrew - thank you for directing me to your review as it was very helpful. (There are generally few reviews of HP printers). I have a couple follow-up questions. Are the black tones as rich and dark as the 1280? I also own the Epson 2200, and the issue that I could not match (but only approach) the quality of the black tones of the 1280 with the 2200 has been very frustrating in addition to the fact that the 2200 produces very disappointing if not unacceptable results with glossy papers. Regarding another concern, Vincent Oliver, in his review of the DJ 90, noted that the DJ90 does not deliver the same level of detail as the Epson 2400, and I have seen references to the same issue with the DJ130 as opposed to the Epson 4800. Is this view widely shared that the DJ 90/130 does not deliver the same level of detail, and if so, to what extent is it noticeable? My apologies if these are redundant issues, I tried to read as many forum postings as possible prior to my posting. Thanks, Steve
