Are you on a Mac or PC? I'm on a Mac and general I have had faster spool/print times with CS3 than CS2. But large files are a pain. I have had 300+MB files that sometimes take 45 minutes to get the printhead moving. In one case I actually aborted the process 3 times, thinking that something was wrong, as the Z print monitor never opened up. Turned out I just needed to be more patient by about 35 minutes :-).
