Here are my settings for print with preview window in adobe: document (profile: Adobe RGB1998) color handling (let photoshop determin colors) printer profile (profile created using color visions printfix pro) rendering - either saturation or perceptual. have tried black point on and off > what settings you have in the driver, regarding the color etc.> excuse me for being naive but i have always selected the hpgl/2 versus the cad so i think i must be missing something with the driver settings regarding the color unless the print preview satifies that. Otherwise I am not sure what you mean by the drivers color tab. i have done all the alignments, the calibrations, and i just tried converting to CMYK (that came as a suggestion to try). The only other suggestion I haven't tried is that if I can print the smaller 11 x 14 sizes and they turned out great with the same profile and then use alien skin blowup or OnOne 4.1 then I should add a surface texture to compensate??? When you print a palette demo on the machine, the driver is not used. When you send a print from your PC, the settings in the driver should overwrite the palette settings, if it's set to software.
