Hi,

Does anyone know what "... accurately reproduces both CMYK-defined and
RGB-defined colors means in regards to the HP Designjet 5000 [non PS]
version? [:-/]

Verses the "HP Designjet 5000PS which offers offset printing press
emulation." CMYK?

I thought all wide format printers, (not desktop photo RGB printers),
had to convert the input profile such as Adobe RGB (1998) to one of the
CMYK profiles for the output device. Preferably as late as possible in
the workflow.

I am confused as this sounds to me that one could send a RGB ICC
profiled input directly to print without converting? I looked all night,
even yahooed and googled the statement "reproduces both CMYK-defined and
RGB-defined colors and it always came back to reference only the HP
Designjet 5000 printer, no others???

Would love to have this one cleared up, thanks alot for your time
everyone,

Sincerely [/:)]

Laura,
