You know it is odd how these oem printer drivers out of Photoshop CS2 
do things like that. I remember I tried to use 7"x44" strips on my 
9600 to do roll tests. It kept printing only the first image on the 
roll canvas. The custom paper size was created but didn't function 
correctly.

After I switched to 11" wide x 44" canvas it printed the entire 
length normally. That limitation must be built into the driver as it 
is hosted by PS. Sounds the same on the HP. Must have something to do 
with their concerns about paper curl, paper trimming, etc.
