To print on close materials, such as textured or watercolour paper, you could try using a Canon CLC 26xx/32xx. These are colour laser printers which can be made to work great on almost any uncoated stock up to 300gsm. Their main limitations are maximum paper size (SRA3) and output resolution (600dpi). Also, fine type and flat tints won't reproduce well on hard paper with extreme texture. But we recently obtained fabulous quality, printing watercolour reproductions CLC onto Bockingford paper, which is both hard and textured, having failed to find a litho printer or digital press that could print on this stock. Doubt if Inkaid works, I wouldn't waste time on it!
