The real problem is getting HP to get a service tech out to our site. We have a warranty for that for each printer. We have been on the phone with then no less than 2 hrs today and we still have not heard from the service tech that they promised would be out here tomorrow. The HP service is getting worse and worse. We would contract someone else if we knew someone that had a clue about these printers. Any ideas?

When you say you can move the carriage head, what exactly do you mean? The carriage itself? If indeed you can move the carriage when it's supposed to be over the caps, that is not too good, if the printer is off. It does not appear to be stuck. The carriage head is sitting in its spot over the printheads. You can move the carriage head, which seems a bit odd. Hi, This is an 86:11 error. A scan-axis shutdown error. This could point to a paperjam, or the carriage stuck at a position in the scanaxis. Can you say if the carriage is stuck or has stopped somewhere in it's path? Mostly just before the opening of the right cover? The wrench indicates an error message and the ink levels can be translated to an numeric code. I need all 6 ink levels from left to right.
