Thanks Teddy I will attach a screenshot below (if I can??!!). The screenshot shows a number of ICC profiles, quite a few of them I have downloaded from HP & supposidly suitable for the 2500 &/or the type of paper I am using at present. These generally have a description attached. However, when I try to assign these particular ones in the printer driver, I get a error message stating that they are not compatable with the CYMK set-up of the printer. However, I have carried out a bit of experimenting using a basic colour pattern that I made up and printed it off using any/all of the profiles that I could assign and have found that using generic either sRGB or AdobeRGB that probably came with windows have given me the best match to my uncalibrated screen. GO FIGURE!! Can't seem to insert the screenshot here, I will post it in the Photo's section. Cheers Mark PS: I will also post a picture of a couple of prints I have done off this printer. Although it is very very slow without a RIP, I have to say that I'm reasonably happy with its output. ------------------------------------ Website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDesignJet_Printers Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
