Your problem might be with converting the image to the paper profile. Your image is in a color space, probably AdobeRGB1998 or sRGB, either way, it should remain that way through the printing process. A color space is different than a printer profile. Do not convert the image to a printer profile. Rather, when you press the "Print" button, and the printer driver opens, the Z3100 driver asks for a profile the printer will use in association with the paper choice. That's when you apply the paper profile. The image remains unchanged as far as it's color space is concerned.
