After having problems:
"Something wrong happens to hplip after 1.7.1 release"
I tried 2.7.6 release hoping it will fix my issues. Still the same problem.
Even worse: I can not print at all! hp-toolbox run in user mode returns:

however printer is connected and power on.
I use usb 2.0 cable made by HP and bought in HP internet shop together with
printer.
How can I debug this problem?

Now this bug is very serious. I really would like to help you in debugging
problem. Please give me directions where I can start loking and which tools I
should use. Which reports you would like to see?
