Did you do a server install of breezy? 

Yes
 

A standard breezy install should install cupsys and ghostscript.  If that's not the case you may be running into several problems. 

 I did an apt-get install cupsys gs


Verify your system meets all of the requirements on this page:

All seems fine here, looks like i have all the system requirements.


Try running hp-check and post the output.
